office. President Biden also said he was not seeking conflict with China

Germany: Four people have been killed and one person seriously wounded
in an attack at a care clinic in Germany, police said Thursday. A
51-year-old employee has been arrested "under strong suspicion" of
carrying out the assault, police said.
Spain: The bodies of 24 sub-Saharan migrants were brought to land by
Spain’s Maritime Rescue Service on Wednesday evening. They are believed
to have died of thirst and hunger as they tried to cross from the west
coast of Africa to the Canary Islands.
